This policy explains which data Kivo processes, why, for how long, and how to exercise your rights. It applies to the kivoquiz.com website and to the Kivo Android app, which displays the same website.
The data controller is Kivo Games. For any question about your data or to exercise your rights, write to support@kivoquiz.com.
Kivo does not sell your data. It does not use it for advertising profiling, beyond what Google AdMob does with your consent.
Your username, avatar, titles and scores appear in matches, on leaderboards and on your public profile; the photo of your Google account may be used as your avatar. Your level, sign-up date, online presence and profile statistics are only visible if you turn them on in your settings. Private messages can only be read by their recipient, and by moderators when they are reported.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union, notably in the United States. These transfers are covered by the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Data may also be disclosed to authorities where the law requires it.
You can delete your account at any time from the kivoquiz.com/compte/suppression page, reachable from your profile on the website and in the app. Deletion is immediate and permanent: coins, items, Premium and progression are lost, with no refund. If you can no longer sign in, write to support@kivoquiz.com from the account's email address.
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, the right to object and the right to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise them, write to support@kivoquiz.com: we reply within one month.
In the app, you can change your ad choices with the “Ad privacy choices” button in the shop, where the rules of your country provide for it. If you believe your rights are not respected, you may lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (www.dataprotectionauthority.be) or with the data protection authority of your country.
Kivo is not intended for children under 13. If you are under the age set by your country to consent on your own to the processing of your data (13 in Belgium, up to 16 elsewhere in the European Union), the agreement of a person with parental responsibility is required to accept personalised ads. A minor must also obtain this agreement before making any purchase.
Passwords are irreversibly encrypted, exchanges go through an encrypted connection, purchases and rewards are verified with Google before anything is credited, and access to data is restricted to the people who need it.
This policy may be updated. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page; in the event of a significant change, you will be informed in the game.
